[...] 101 About Me [...]
Austen and the Romantic poets! You have good taste
It’s too bad you don’t like Dickens though – he describes things so well! Please tell me you like the Brontes – I’m fairly in love with them myself.
Also I can’t cut my fingernails either – I hate the sounds and I always screw it up and make my nails look gross.
Thank you!
I like the first Dickens novel I read. But after suffering through a semester of him (and in my opinion all of his books are the same story rehashed) I am happy to pretend he does not exist.
Of course I love the Brontes! And the Brownings! Swoon.
Thursday is ny favourite day too! It is close to the weekend but it doesn’t drag on like Friday
#61 – wow I was living your dream! And then I decided I hated it. The End
You and I have much in common.. crazy….
but out of the beverages, I have only heard of a long island. What in the heck is a Harp??
Miracle-Yay! We should be bloggy buddies!
Harp is a wonderful beer produced by the Guinness people. It’s expensive, but worth it.
101 About Me! What a great idea. I’m going to try one myself.
re #11 – I lived through the 1940s and the 1950s, and everything since. This is better, so much better right now.
Pete
wow! we are pretty similar!
i totally make up words, feel better wearing heels, bookstores = love, and i love learning.
totally readered you!
Harp is my favourite beer too. And I don’t really drink coffee but I love Pepsi (sometimes I crave it when I wake up, and I indulge).
I’ve never bathed in a clawfoot tub, but and hereby requesting a bath in yours someday.
Wow how amazing are you! Makes my ‘about me’ sound like a wet weekend in Bournemouth!
We have so much in common!
“so much in common,” blogged over and over again proves that you have an amazing talent most writers never quite hit on the mark….yet here you are bringing people in with your words and making each reader feel something….including me. At first I thought you must be someone I know since you hit on things about my life, including gymnastics, weight issues, sleep flying, “Rosie the Rivetor,” time travel, smells, hating numbers, good intentions and many more…so close to my own person that chills ran up and down my body..I am chilly all the time but I am freezing in Florida summer heat but very cold only when I am sleepy tired…..oddly if you knew who I was and the reason my friend found you and demanded I check it out “at least a bit,” before we leave for the airport.. you would be quite amused and hopefully smile…..pretend to be nancy drew and I am sure you can guess but the reason I am reading your words has nothing to do with why I am writing now. I wonder if this voice, shining with talent understands the gift so many work for but very few ever actually find a writers voice that crosses genres and could very likely help so many. You have that voice and I am thrilled to read more form you and see what your writers gift brings to life.
I wish you the best and am very glad that I was made to read your site..even if the original reason my friend found you was not very kind……not a fan when friends share unkind remarks with me but this time was different and she knew I would be amazed by your writing and excited about the calm that comes when people come together…thanks a ton..oops….we might be late for our flight…tutus and all.
Thank you.
I have such in common but 33, 40, and 99 are me in a nutshell. I love the fall its such a time for a fresh start and for cuddling close to loved ones.
