Now that I have your attention…I’m talking about accounting.
Just kidding. I’m actually am talking about shoes, for a bit anyway. Thanks to my love/hate relationship with Oprah I now have made it my life’s goal to someday own a pair (or four) of Christian Louboutin shoes. Gorgeous. Damn you Oprah! I’m a “save” girl as a general fashion rule and those shoes are the epitome of “splurge”.
Speaking of shoes, let me tell you a story about my favorite pair of shoes. I owned them when I was 9 or 10. They were high heeled sneakers.
They looked something like this
Only imagine them in a classic black and white saddle shoe with a chunky heel not a wedge. Those were my shoes. My dad brought them back for me after a business trip in California, and I always mentioned that fact when I got compliments on them. They were strange, but in a cool way, and they are probably the best, most interesting shoes I’ve ever owned. I wore them out. What were your favorite childhood shoes?
In other news, I’m completely blog illiterate. I’ve tried several times to make the 20something badge show up on my sidebar, but even after following the directions the text box in the widgets just eats my code. Also, I’m interested in changing my banner but I have no idea how to create something of my own (nor photoshop to do it) any suggestions? Don’t worry, one day I’ll not be the newbie and all your help will be passed on to the next generation of ill-informed bloggers.
